It may be hard to believe but abortion kills more blacks than the other seven leading causes of black deaths combined according to the CDC. I knew this fact before I attended a screening of a controversial documentary entitled Maafa 21 which claims that abortion is black genocide. I was not surprised by the damage claims of abortion and sterilization perpetrated on black women but I was surprised to learn who was behind these measures.

Eugenics is a belief that has its roots in Darwinism. It purports that human evolution can be direct by using abortion and sterilization to “weed out” undesirable elements of a society. The early adherents to Eugenics were people like Sir Francis Galton, Margaret Sanger, John Maynard Keynes, and the leaders of the Nazi Party in fascist Germany. The latter group probably displayed the most grisly face of the movement. The Eugenics society that began in America eventually evolved into an organization that we know today as Planned Parenthood.

You would think with such leaders and ideas that all the black community would be against organizations like the Eugenics Society and its progeny Planned Parenthood. This, however, is not the case. At some point, leaders of the NAACP and people like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and even President Obama realized that they could benefit from the massive cash and political clout of Planned Parenthood and decided to sell out the lives of thousands of black babies.

I didn’t agree with every point raised by this film but the overall premise is sound and needs to be heard. I think it should also be stated that genocide is not a black issue or a white issue. It is a sin issue that all Christians regardless of political persuasion should be against. I strongly urge you all to arm yourselves with the truth and don’t look the other way on this issue.
